By Highway Bus: Walk from the airport exit to the nearby Meitetsu Bus Station and take the Meitetsu Bus to Iida Eki Mae. The bus is around 2 hours and a ticket is 2,900 yen.
By Rental Car: There are numerous car rental company options. Once you have rented, take the Chuo Expressway to Iida. The journey is 90 minutes – 2 hours depending on traffic.
By Bullet Train: Take a bullet train from your nearest Tokyo station (Tokyo, Shinagawa or Shin-Yokohama) to Toyohashi. Exit the Toyohashi bullet train station and walk to the nearby Iida Line station. Take the Inaji express from Toyohashi on the Iida Line to Iida. This is a two and a half hour train ride, but with amazing views!
By Highway Bus: Take the Highway Bus from Tokyo Shinjuku “Busta” bus terminal to Iida Eki Mae. The journey is about 4 hours and costs 4,000 yen.
